RDunbar Well Site

This new one is in Vernon - ODNR Interactive Well Viewer Has Stats. Anyone know when drilling will commence?  Appears to be Pipeline activity in support of the site - although nothing yet so far as drilling.

Lets hear from our Trumbull folks - been far too quiet - far to long....

Where in Vernon is this site located?  Is this the well site on the Carr farm off of Route 7?

That is correct.  Actually Dunbar property.  Lateral will run southeast under the Carr farm and some others almost into Vernon.

What's up with the pad that BP cleared on Housel Craft Road?  I don't see any permit being issued for drilling there.

BP is done drilling and probably won't be back unless gas and NGL prices rise significantly.

There's simply not enough data to make that statement with any degree of accuracy.  Halcon's Kibler well is the only real data point and it tells a very different story.

Kibler IPed at 4.5mmcf of 1,350 btu gas and 860 bbls/condensate.  Assuming 27% shrink and full ethane recovery there's another 821 bbls/NGLs in the mix.

CHK tried to sell their acreage...no buyers.  Enervest tried to sell their acreage...no buyers.  Look at where the rigs and activity are.  That's the real story.  Halcon might be able to make far southern portion fo Trumbull county work for them but it's so residential that you won't see major development. The Kibler makes a nice press release but lets see where production is in 90 days.

Companies failing to sell a position is not evidence of the position being poor, only unmarketable at the asking price.  Everyone knows EnerVest wanted a huge premium for their leases and there is only so much money out there looking to buy.  

As far as Trumbull being too residential I'll refer you to the Barnett where that sort of barrier has been dealt with.  Those numbers aren't just a nice press release, they are proof of potential profitability for the immediate area.  Rig counts matter when a company has assets spread out across a play.  That's clearly an indicator of the best sweet spots.  But Halcon doesn't have any other place to allocate their capital.  If they had acreage in Harrison then yes, they'd drill that before Trumbull and Mahoning.  But they don't.  So you're not comparing apples to apples.

BP is waiting for their numbers to come out on the wells they have drilled. They said they will have those in the beginning of the 2014 and will then set up a plan to drill the rest.

Sometimes I just dont know where you guys get your misinformation.

Not misinformation nor landman rumors; some of us know things before others.  Don't bash me just wait and see.
