Allow exports--which will give companies the $$ they need to drill more, and American prices will rise to a better level....but then, what do I know?

In my opinion, it's better for Royalty interests and O&G companies to ship it, but better for America as a whole if we didn't. I for one would have no problem limiting exports so we don't bleed ourselves dry to make Exxon another buck per share.... The dissenters in the article make some good points.

America will not have to worry, it will always be cheaper for us because we will have no transportation cost.

Perhaps it would be best if we were to keep our natural resources for our own use. Once they are gone , they are gone forever.

Besides , it sounds as though gas is every where they poke a hole worldwide. Horizontal drilling and fracking have opened up the world for production. I think you will see the export market dry up in the near future.

Exporting of our gas could provide a more stable source for many of our European allies. Right now Russia is the main supplier and they have a habit of turning off the spigot whenever it suits them. If our exports can help to grow our own economy as well than it would also be in our intrest to ship it away. A strong economy helps to ensure a strong nation.
