What is the procedures when an O/G company puts a unit together? A relative had their land surveyed by a company, but have not received any notice of being in a unit. The people surveying told them that they were surveying for a unit. My relative stated it has been two weeks since the surveyors were there; and still they have not received any notices. Any ideas on what is the procedures and time line of being notified by the company?

We are now starting to see permits for our well site -- permits for stormwater and for erosion and sediment control. How optimistic should I be that this means sure progress toward drilling? Any idea of a timeline from these first permits? We are leased with Chevron in Greene Co., PA.
Could you please post the link you use for notifications? Also, where is your Greene County lease? Thanks!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
