Does that mean they have drilled one lateral?
and are starting a second?
Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on November 14, 2013 at 11:06am Moved the rig again on Sat. If they are averaging 18 days a hole like some of the companies they could have this unit completed before the end of the year.
Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on December 28, 2013 at 4:28am They have pulled a small rig in on the 703 pad and have started drilling to get ready for the big rig when they finish up on the 702 pad. The 703 pad has 8 laterals with closer spacing. Looks like an interesting 2014 shaping up.
Hi Sam,
Thanks for the update.
So what is the current status of 702?
How many holes have they put down?
Have they drilled laterals?
Where is 703?
Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on December 30, 2013 at 3:51am They moved the rig again on Sunday. I would think they are starting on the 6th hole. The 703 pad is on the next hill over to the north.
Thanks.
Do you have a map showing 703's location?
Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on December 30, 2013 at 7:11am You can find it on the ODNR website.

Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on March 6, 2014 at 8:49am They took the rig down on Wedn. I think they may be done drilling on the 702 site. I hope to see it go up on the 703 site this week.
Thanks. I really appreciate the update.
Will they be fracking soon?
How long will that process last?
When do you predict they will be in production?
Permalink Reply by Sam Moore on April 14, 2014 at 4:57am Fracking going on on the 702 site. nothing happening on the 703 site its been 6 weeks since they finished up drilling on 702 so this doesn't look good. Everyone else is ramping up the drilling and HG goes on vacation.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
