Any getting Offers For HBP By GPS Energy In Harrison Co.

I OWN SOME LAND NEAR DEERSVILLE THAT IS HBP AND A COMPANY CALLED GPS ENERGY IS WANTING TO RE-WRITE MY LEASE WITH A CASH OFFER AND ROYALTY % . THEY TOLD ME THEY REPRESENT CHK AND ARE TRYING TO GET SOME HBP LAND TO MIX IN WITH THERE ACREAGE TO FORM SOME DRILLING UNITS. HE SAID THERE WHERE ABOUT 25 HBP LAND OWNERS HE NEEDED TO CONTACT. SO WAS ANYONE ELSE CONTACTED BY GPS AND WHAT WAS THERE OFFER. THEY CALLED ME THREE TIMES AND SEEM HOT TO GET HBP LAND AROUND TAPPAN.

Anthony,  I am on the other side of Tappan  and AEP has bought many of the HBP leases here.  Haven't heard from GPS tho.  I am wondering and hoping they make some kind of cash offer and increase in royalty %.   Would be interested to know what GPS offered you.  You can send me a private message if you wish.  Thanks

why would they have to pay you if its HBP? wouldn't they have to buy it out from who ever has you leased? im also around tappan.

They want to amend the old lease.

any compensation for landowners must be to revise drilling unit size in old shallow leases......

much of the drilling to date has avoided areas with many shallow wells - probably for that very reason....and many of the current units/laterals end just short of shallow wells, where it appears they could have easily went longer.

these operators are running out of the "wide open" acreage (in western Harrison) and appear to be moving into the HBP lands.

there are plenty of shallow wells around tappan with a bunch of different gascos holding by production;

one look at the well locater/viewer and you can see why they will be wanting to amend many old HBP leases with unit size limitations.

Perhaps the Lease holders of the HBP acreage are asking for too much.
