It seems the Canadians.. need a LOT of it....
Texas "crude" seems to be 60% plus of condensate .. of production !!
and CONDENSATE is going to be allowed to sell over seas.....
so it seems Condensate is the "sleeper" oil value...

Condensate sells at a $10-12 discount to WTI. It has traded at a $20 discount before and with export could potentially trade at a discount as low as $7. So there are some variables.
In other words.... if a barrel of oil sells for $80....
condensate could sell for $70 or $60...
So its still a good price per barrel
It used to be called that, yes. It's just a very high gravity oil, usually 45 degrees or higher. Its best use is as a diluent for heavy crude blending.
