In Doddridge there are a lot of natural gas liquids. In some places if they don't choke them back it causes the oil to break out in the rock and then it retards the gas from coming into the well bore. Think of it like a ring of liquid surrounding the well path. As the gas (and other liquids) are trying to come in they have to pass through this ring in order to get into the well and then the surface to be sold. Its like having to run through quicksand that's waist deep, it doesn't happen. By keeping them choked back it keeps the pressure down hole higher and everything stays a gas until it gets into the well itself and then the oil falls out and can be brought to surface and sold. Not saying they aren't choking some back due to prices but this could be why (in some places) too.

Well, we're at $2.49 now and could easily be heading even lower.

Wells not already choked back may well be in future.

'Market Conditioning'.

The cheaper they obtain it from the source (the lessor's land) the higher the profit when they sell it to their foreign / overseas customers (actually any customer buying natural gas - as gas or LNG or NGL or condensate or oil).

Wonder what foreign / overseas customers are paying for LNG these days ?

Seem's those are "crashing" to $7 area.

Russians must hate that.

Now for some future US #'s as projects come on line. In Bcf/day

2016 Sabine Pass 1.2

2017 Sabine Pass 1.2 (2.4) Cove Point 0.4

2018 Freeport 0.5 Cove Point 0.4 (0.8) Cameron 1.2

So 2018 4.9 Bcf/day exports by LNG

Could be why LNG is "crashing".

Now I don't have numbers, but seems Canada (British Columbia) is moving much faster. Yes that is Western Canada. Canada has been moving gas East for a long time. One might get the idea Eastern Canada might not need all that gas from the West. Might even reverse that flow. Now where might that supply come from? Oh I have no idea whatsoever where 3-5 Bcf/day could come from !!!!!!! Oh and poor Canada doesn't have any storage either. LOL They might be Socialist but their not stupid. That trait is left to Socialist's in the US.
