I have oil and gas rights that are held by a non-producing shallow lease in Washington County, PA.   I need a good local lawyer with quiet title experience who is willing to work on a contingency basis.  Any recommendations?

Who is the gas company that claims they have a lease with your non producing well?

In your area I recommend Morascyzk and Polochak Law Offices. (O&G att'ys)   A phone call will give the answer you need.  412. 564. 5695.  The more info you can provide up front the less work a law office will have to do.  On your part going to the records office @ county courthouse to nail down paperwork you may not have @ home is a good beginning.

Good luck!

I don't even know of a lawyer in Washington County who has successfully tried a Quiet Title case.  Don't limit your self to a lawyer in Washington County

Wilson vs Equitable Gas was won for the landowner in 2011 by Hook and Hook of Waynesburg, but they are not taking any new cases.

Wilson himself was a lawyer I believe.  It was a great case,  I was thrilled when he won.

It's always good news when individuals can go toe-to-toe w/O&G firms and win! Washington County has so much hot action right now ... great production ... that I understand why this quiet title work is so important to Bob.  I stand by my earlier recommendation.  Just touched base Morasczk & Polochak's office to dbl-check they were still doing Quiet Title.  They are.  Again ... good luck .  No, wondrous luck because Washington is that good nowadays!!
