Since Rex's buy out of Swepi's Western PA and Eastern Ohio leaseholds,a lot of folks (including me) may have questions for y'all who are being produced by Rex. You can pose these questions on this thread if you like! Thanks.

Trapper,

I'm in one of Rex's units now and about to be in two more units shortly (they're fracking them now), pipelines already in. Rex has been drilling all around us for years, Butler Co, PA. Rex runs a first class operation, no expense cornered, first class on excavating and restoration ( I know quite a few of the subs for their site work) When they're applying for drilling permits, Markwest is doing ROWs and permits, so when the well is done it's into production right away, no screwing around! Rex has to keep drilling so they can fulfill their production obligations to Markwest and to try to hold as much of the new Swepi leases as possible. Markwest pipes and processes all of Rex's gas and keeps expanding their plants for more production. Markwest then markets all their gas thru BP. Whether they are making any money... who knows... you sure can't believe their stock propaganda!  LewPa

Thanks LewPa.
Good to know they arrange pipelines as they get permits to drill. Hopefully our area will be drilled soon.I feel comfortable with them holding my lease. Thanks again.

Matt,

I'm also long on Rex stock, started in Jan when it became a no brainer, way oversold. Been trading it since, done fairly well, in it now for a little longer term, for some of the reasons you state. Not for the faint of heart! Question is, if they sell some more of their assets, they use the money to keep drilling, price of gas doesn't respond, then what? Nothing left to sell!!  Still haven't  figured out their long range plan. Hold out for the Shell cracker? Did you do alright in Rex and Halcon stock? Did your property get into one of the Renick Units? LewPa

Butler AND Lawrence Counties...sounds like we have what they want!
They will retain their acreage in Carroll County, OH and their acreage in Butler and Lawrence counties in PA. It seems as if everything else (at least in the northeast) is up for sale.
I'd expect things to accelerate once their acreage sells (or even before).

We'll see.
I sure hope so. Except for Hilcorp's activity, the rest of Lawrence County has been languishing. My hunch is the Cracker will give us momentum.

Matthew,

Rex check stub attached.

How many acres is that? How big is the unit?

1262 acres.  Brownsdale West Unit

Phil

Jon,

Which unit are you asking about.  I thought that you were asking about the Stebbins pad that Lew referred to below.

If you were asking about the check stub I posted, that is the Rex Lamperski unit in Forward Township, Butler County, PA.  The check stub is for 1.5 acres in a 624 acre unit with a 12.5% royalty.

Phil

Hi guys. I don't see the check stub. Can I ask how much it was for the 1.5 acre?
Thanks
Rich
