Is your name really David Allen Coe?  Duke?

How would you confuse me with Coe ? Or John Wayne ?

Who is Heckbert?  Is that some kind of made-up name . . . like Eggbert?

Oh, OK.  Sorry.  I was able to find out about something named "Heckbert" here, in the comment section:

Heckbert is an anti-NG activist

You were kinda right, Heckbert is a made up name, and a made up person. They are called trolls and they are mostly employed by hard leftist groups that hate capitalism and our country.

You will notice that there is debating of the subject matter "Heckbert" posts on the site, it is not their "leftists" desire.

They fly their tripe knowing that a certain percentage of folks will see it and be too emotional or too ignorant to know any better.

Good work Frank. Now he will have to reinvent himself again.

"It’s no wonder that a Harvard Business School study found that responsible shale development is “perhaps the single largest opportunity to improve the trajectory of the U.S. economy.”"

David,

In the late 60's and early 70's the environmental leftists were predicting "global cooling"; and that by 1980 half the world's population would starve to death because it would be to cold to grow food.

This whole climate change nonsense is not about the environment. It's about control, control of human activity.

It's all a lie, and the folks who post on this site about the effects of oil and gas development on the environment are just promoting the lie(s).

Sadly most of them know that they are spreading lies and misinformation.

Why do you suppose the site administrators allow this nonsense ?

David,

My guess is that he allows the free flow of  opinions. He is not in the business of deciding the accuracy of any opinion.

I suppose he also feels that we who use this site have free will and can choose not to read or comment on certain posts.

After all - when you see a post from Paul you know you probably won't agree with the content. None of us have to read the nonsense he posts; we could pass it by.

Also, for all of the lack of substance in the posts, Paul generally is not nasty or insulting in his responses.

As I have said, I don't want him banned, he is the entertainment portion of the site. It's like horror flicks at the movies. I don't enjoy them so I don't go to see them. But, I know someone enjoys them.

David,

I must admit that even I was surprised by some of the content of Paul's post about Flint and his responses.

It's amazing to me that he would think that anyone would believe that the Governor of MI and people in the oil and gas there are racists and intentionally poisoned the water of African Americans in Flint.

Even I found that outrageous.

This is why we must respond to his posts and expose the nonsense being posted.

But you know, 1st amendment and freedom of speech and all that.

How old were you when you figured out the Secret to Life?

Speaking of a lack of substance, couldn't you have treated us all to a glimpse of your profound insight with  5 or 10 examples of my empty, nonsensical remarks?  You're claiming they're so abundant.

You're complaining of a lack substance-- with a post that has no substance?

Typical.

Recently, you're writing has become clearer.  Nevertheless, it still lacks---well--substance.
