Have NY landowners given up all hope?

I see nothing on this site pertaining to NY. Have NY landowners given up all hope? I also do not see any help topics on ‘starting a group’, ‘joining a group’, ‘asking a member to befriend them’ or ‘become a friend’, ‘reply to private members comments’. BIG MYSTERY!

Ditto  I saw a group listed as New York Landowners with about 62 members here but didnt see any posts for the last few years and didn't see how to join the group.  Advice would be appreciated.   We have Marcellus, Utica, and Trenton Black River, along with some Oriskany sandstone formations producing gas now as I recall.  I am in Central New York, Madison County

I live in the great state of NY (shouldn't need to explain this is sarcasm).Nothing will happen here on any grand scale until Cuomo and his NYC cronies are defeated at the polls....in other words.....never.

We own NY rights about 15 miles from the PA/NY border, and there is ZERO activity in this area. The last wells drilled were TBR, which AFAIK, they could continue to drill....but nuthin.

We will be leaving this great state as soon as my spouse retires.

Exactly as Bullfrex comments. I sold 80 acres this year, I had purchased it prior to the frac ban by Heil Cuomo. NY will not harvest its riches, not today , not tomorrow. Move onto to other areas because it will not happen in NY.

Hey Ralph, tell your state leaders that YOU WANT GAS AND OIL WELLS AND FRACKING IN NEW YORK STATE. TELL THEM THAT YOU WANT NEW YORK STATE TO COMPETE WITH PENNSYLVANIA FOR THE WORLD MARKET FOR OIL AND GAS!

Granddad,Cuomo is deaf ears.  He would rather have farms  go bankrupt, sell at auction and then settled by refugees.

I saw Cuomo a few months back say "If you're going to arrest immigrants, arrest me because my grandparents were immigrants !"   I didnt know his grandparents were illegals .......Mine came from the same place, but they were legal !!   I'm looking forward to waterless fracing, but when the day comes I doubt that Cuomo will be able to make the distinction there either !

NYC libs love it when farmers belly up.  Then they can by the land at fire sale prices and either build McMansion summer homes or put the land in land banks for their play grounds.

Seems like once a person acquires a great deal of dollar bills, his GREEDINESS kicks in for more dollar bills!  And he forgets about everything else like family comfort and health needs.
