New York State has
been the poster child of delaying and trying to ban natural gas drilling and
hydraulic fracturing with no just cause.

We are tired of all the misinformation campaigns.

New York State landowners and farmers are true environmentalist and have enough
evidenced based science to know for a fact natural gas production can be done
safely.

Please support natural gas development in New York. The benefit to our state
far outweighs any risk.

That's why I signed a petition to The New York State House, The New York State
Senate, and Governor Andrew Cuomo, which says:

"Support natural gas development in New York State."

Beware of the people you put in office it does matter,

I sympathize. Glad I am not a land owner living in NY! If I was, I wouldn't try to convince the current elected officials there to support nat gas, since it looks like they are a lost cause. I would work my hardest to vote them out for many reasons, only one of which is what they have done w.r.t. nat gas. Remember, "politicians" are actually elected officials. They get voted in and can be voted out.

Ken I agree, but we have to still fight or else the election will not go in our favor.  We need numbers on paper right now.  Election time we can get them on paper.  One step at a time.

Just because it is NY, I'm still leaning with what I said over two years ago:

Be as "optimistic" as you want...but there are too many political "what if's" in NY for high risk/high cost business.  I agree with Rosen: get ready to hold your breath (wait) for a VERY long time-maybe 20-30 years from now?

Frankly I am not optimistic at all but at least when I leave New York State for good.  i knew I did everthing I possibly could have to advance the drilling here and around the country.  Frankly I really do not have much to gain I own a small parcel of land and most landowners have far more to lose then myself.  So I will hold my head high no matter what happens.

What would the people of New York State say if the affected farmers stopped farming on their land?  Many jobs pay better anyhow. What would happen to food prices?   I don't know if that is an answer, but the farmers and landowners of New York state need to find their leverage.  Glad I left that state.

Unfortunately many voters there vote people out of what they have, and now they want to vote people from using what they have left.

I ultimately predict that when fracking is allowed again, it will coincide with a hefty new severance tax.
