Can anyone tell me if they have had the same problems with Wishgard Llc. in sighning a lease, then an extension. Having it recorded at the court house. And then when the lease date with the extension expire, they tell you that they can't get you a deal and will release you from the lease agreement.

Thanks donna, this has really knocked the wind out of me.

I would recommend joining the Smith-Goshen land owners group.

I believe the Smith-Goshen is now closed (as of a couple of weeks ago).

Wishgard is nothing more than a broker gambling with YOIUR money.  They sign up tracts of land and try to sell them for the arbitrage that inevitably exists.  If they don't get a buyer they walk away and it costs them nothing.  It costs YOU time and energy, however.  Belmont is a hot county, go sign with a real company and get the treatment and respect that you deserve.

Ok, so I just got off the phone with the lawyer... If anybody has any thoughts of signing with Wishgard Llc. Please send me a message. Their so called company is still screwing my family!!! They cancelled the lease with us, cause they couldn't do their job. They have the lease recorded at the court house. It ended over a week ago! We never seen any money! And now worst of all, we can't sign with a good company because it is recored that they have a lease that they haven't honored or payed for! Now my family has to pay $250.00 an hour to have a lawyer fight to have this removed! What a country!!!

The $250/hr you pay will seem like nothing once you get that lease released and you sign with a real company for real money.  Keep your head up, friend.

Does it amaze you that we are in foriegn nations teaching them about democracy and we allow the things that happen in our own country?  Liars and thieves continue to ravage our nation.

Did you write a letter to Wishgard LLC asking them to sign a cancel and surrender form and record it at the court house?  Just wondering.

Trying to keep my head up... I have talked with other companies, but the problem is they look at the recorders web site and see the lease recorded. Now they wont talk to me because it looks like we have a lease with Wishgard. Never in a million years could i ever treat sombody the way Wishgard is with us!

This entire forum--filled with people from all walks of life and economic circumstances--lacks only one thing:a single positive comment about Wishgard. Non payment means an unlessed lease. They're done. Get that thing off the record books and get a better payday. Call them day and night, send emails, letters, Hell get carrier pigeons if you have to. Nag them until they relent and eventually do the right thing.

Just an FYI - I was looking in the Belmont County Recorders online deed search at the number of leases currently recorded for various G&O companies. I see that Wishgard has released quite a few of it's leases. You can view this yourself by going to the county web site and under the Recorders page go to Online Deed Search. Under name - key in Wishgard and scroll down to see the list of released leases. I sure feel sorry for those people who signed in good faith and now have to seek out another lease agreement.

Don't feel too sorry for those folks, Suzanne. They'll be getting a much better deal now that Wishgard has failed to scam them.
