With Mark west cutting across N.Beaver county with a new pipeline ,things could be looking up.
Is that the new line running through new galilee or the one price Gregory just put in a little to the south?

Mark, yes between New Galilee and Darlington , crossing Rt.168.

Thomas,

What do you know about this line?

Trapper, I do not know anything about this line.  My POC at Shell was only the landman who worked out the lease.  When I write him he replies, "Not my lane."  I only have 30 acres, but the parcel around me is 600 acres so I was that corner of the pie Shell needed.  Our lease also says 18%, which I know is on 30 acres of total production based on total acreage.

Side note, also have 100 acres in Allegheny County (Family Farm) with Range and they're doing testing on properties for well locations.  That lease renewed after 5 years, same percentage.

My understanding is this line is going to the Bluestone 2 treatment plant in Evans City which is coming on line in early 2014. If it is the re-routed version of what was to cut through my land , the other terminus is Vanport. Those of us 2 miles north of the current route who signed row agreements were under the impression it was for Shell at that time. Perhaps it was only a tactic to get us to sign on , idk. Funny thing is where it crosses Rt. 168 between New Galilee and Darlington it ain't heading south to Vanport , it;s heading in the general direction of Shell wells in Little Beaver and North Beaver Twps. in Lawrence County!

i believe the one crossing the river at vanport is called the allegheny access pipeline heading to delaware by sunoco

Wasn't it posted here somewhere that there were 5 permits to drill for pipelines under the ohio at that same location?

The line I refer to should go under the beaver river below koppel somewhere. Maybe closer to beaver falls.

that is the article I read about the name of the vanport crossing maybe one of the other ones mentioned is the one in koppel? My friend used to do boring work under roads and rivers. I am not sure if they did the one under the ohio river like he said most are done. The largest company initiates the bore sleeving it larger then required and sells the remaining space of the sleeve to other companies to recover some of the cost? So maybe Craig there was several lines included @ vanport

The line below koppel is coming from Butler to the old brick yard in Darlington area.
Interesting you mention possible multiple lines through one bore. Thanks for the info, hadn't thought of that.
