Jason, does it say anything about fracking on the tankers?  I know that Chesapeake is buying water from the city of Weirton to be used for fracking.  I wonder if they are just filling the fracking pond?

Todd - I just Drove up to the site. There is a large sound wall preventing anyone to see inside it. There are also no lights set up. But I can tell you that on a freshly paved blacktop Chapman Rd - there are many limestone truck tracks leaving and entering the site. Another truck just drove by right now and they've been at it about 12 hours now. Great Lakes is on the tankers. The trucks take about 30 minutes to drive back south toward Weirton again.

Wow... I guess that Chesapeake must have drilled the entire horizontal.  I heard that the drill bit got stuck while drilling vertically and that another smaller rig was brought in to get it out.

I was under the impression that the well still needed to be drilled horizontally?  Did you see the fracking trucks actually entering the Allison pad?

Fracking trucks on way to Allison today up Wylie Ridge from Weirton. Lots of 'em.

CHK drilled one hole. ONE! My friend flew over the site to verify this a few weeks ago. Only thing left are two ports johns and one pipe tree to secure the hole. . IMO, sounds as if they wanted to HBP. I believe they'll be back. The amount of work they did on site prep is astounding.
But to drill one hole and move out the rig, a bit peculiar. I haven't seen any trucks, large or small, up Wylie Ridge in about two weeks.

What's news with the Allison well?  Any current activity taking place?

Followed a roll-off frac tanker up Wylie ridge this evening. I didn't follow him to the pad but there's no other destination from Kings Creek than the Allison one. I believe they drilled down to one of the shallower layers to HBP until they bring in a big rig.
Anyone else hear this?

Possibly, CHK was tired of losing $$ due to inactivity of the rig in waiting for the permit modification to be approved.  However, as mentioned, the permit modification (casing) was approved this afternoon.

Hummmmm... what do you think that means????

Rig is gone off the Allison property
