Permit modification for the Allison 3H casing has been approved as of this afternoon... Expect to see activity/drilling to recommence.

I believe that Chesapeake is waiting for it's steel casing modification to be approved to commence drilling.  See the DEP website.

Is the NOMAC 39 rig at Allison pad drilling or sitting idle? I haven't seen any activity and wonder if it's because CHK is in such financial distress.
Anyone know?

Just stepped outside to hear what sounds like the rig drilling. But I'm a mile away on Wylie Ridge. I drove up to it Sunday or Monday night all lit up but Not drilling- it looked like all they needed was to give the command. Truck traffic down. I see signs for Nomac posted on Chapman. Also see pick-up trucks from Great Lakes oil field services daily up and down my road.
