It appears that the completion/workover rig is busy on the Allison pad.

Steve,

It is to great benefit to every member of the Hancock County forum and mineral rights owner in Hancock County to remain current with all happenings of oil and gas exploration, operations and production in Hancock County.  In addition, "curiosity, of whatever kind, is one of the permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous mind" -Thorough

Jason/Todd, I dont want to hijack your postings, but I have land about 2 miles from here down Ballatyne road right before route 2.  We just did the contract with CHK and Rokisky last May.  With what you guys know does the Allison rig affect our property?

Just did a driveby and the pad is lit-up like a minor league ball park with lots of portable light towers all around. Ironically in the time I drive past 100 yards and back again - I met 5 semi trucks with regular water tank trailers. Not over sized loads but the largest ones on the road that you see. They were all lined up ready to drive out to the pad.
Also saw a LOT of Baker Hughes fracking trucks heading north on Route 2
Through Weirton late morning and most of the afternoon. Not sure where they were heading but they did not go up Wylie ridge at kings creek. They may have taken Ballantyne since that's the road CHK replaced. But that's just speculation. They could have been heading into Ohio. Jason

What's the latest activity at the Allison wellsite this week?

OK, Thanks Jason!

They are 21,000 gallon closed top frack tanks. From my research they are filled with sand. Haven't seen any water trucks yet. That is a minimum of 1,000 trucks as per my wifes uncle who works for Williams.

Do any of the tankers say they contain brine?  This is a good indicator of fracking.  Thanks
