I read where the life tenant gets thye bonus & royalties until death, the the remaindermen get em. IN TEXAS. not in Ohio. In Ohio, those funds are to be invested for the remaindermen to receive after the L.T.s death. The L.T. can ,however, receive the interest off that investment. From Porter Wright law site.
A life estate Deed allows the Life Tenant to receive all income from the property they are a tenant of. That would include all income from Natural Resources. The Remainderman would receive the income after the Life Estate expires which is usually at the death of the original Tenant
