I have identified six wells within a mile of my property on the cisco rd- 085-9511,9639,9540,9550, 9659,9733. Four different owners, #9733, a Viking well, was fracked. Does anybody have any more info on any of these wells? I live in Atlanta, Ga and don't have good access to anything that is not on-line. B

Erin, when I looked it up I only saw 3 in the time since January 2010. However, they can't apply for a permit until they have the lease in place.

Do you live in Doddridge County? If so, you could go to the courthouse and look up the leases recorded to that company and see what they say. Also get a copy of the deed where your husband's father or other ancestor bought the property, to see just what your family owns.

This might be a  good time to get acquainted with the cousins.

for some reason I can only see a few "A" names, so I'm not sure if I'm just not excel savvy or they only have 3 permits out?

Thank you so much Nancy, I will check into it! My husband actually doesnt speak to them, his dad passed away in 83' and they haven't keep in touch, we were contacted by a "liaison" so it's making it difficult, thanks again!

Sometimes the company starts with just one family member and sees what the response is. If the family decide to talk about it and act together, that would be helpful.

You could go to this website

http://apps.dep.wv.gov/oog/permitsearch_new.cfm

and put in Doddridge for the county and Antero for the company and choose the last year or 2 to see what the company has been doing.

It would be a good idea to try to get a copy, if you don't have it, of your husband's ancestor's deed for the property.

My husband got some land/min rights willed to him  in doddridge county, and I know that someone in the family was contacted from Antero, we since haven't heard a word about it, and I'm trying to find out some info about a possible proposal? does anyone have any idea where to begin, or if there would even be record of this? I have contacted the company and they don't have much to offer! thanks!

I am a new forum member, I have property on the Cairo-Cisco road. Anyone know of any leasing/drilling activity in that area?
