Comment by Richard Fanelly on August 16, 2012 at 8:25am Closest permitted Marcellus wells to my land are south of Gale in Washington District. Permits issued to EQG in late '08 and early '09. No wells have been drilled. Undoubtedly, low gas prices are at fault. Don't expect any activity until gas prices hit at least $4, which may be a long time. Is anyone aware of drilling at this time in Upshur??
Comment by Richard Fanelly on September 8, 2011 at 6:11am Have 75 acres along Middle Fork river south of Ellamore. 30 yr old lease w/EQT but still in production. Offered practically nothing for pooling modification. Don't expect to hear from them again until gas prices rise and my immediate area is proved out.
Thanks Ron for starting site.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
