Thomas,

I was under the impression that landmen were paid very well? Wouldn't everyone that couldn't find a job just do that?

Joe, slow down. I think your  opinion is that they are out there on their own. I have a hard time believeing  that they would pressure people into letting them on their property for their own research. Maybe they might. Lord, are you thinking they are as low as the oil companies?

Comment by dan gladyszewski on February 8, 2013 at 3:55pm

Okay, Everybody slowdown. I won't have any real info until monday. Hopefully. Joe, you will find that there is no trust of the O&G companies around here, because most of us are landowners. Hang in there, keep your info flowing, I find it interesting to see what you have to say. I've always like to hear both sides of the story. People that are attacking are my friends, they are very intelligent and not stupid. I'm not saying that you have said or implied that, but, they have many connections like you wouldn't believe. They can check any on any comments within moments of posting. If you are posting an opinion, make sure you state that. Get a thick skin, you'll need it. Personally, I don't think  that you are trying to mislead us, but be prepared for rebuttal. We  are landowners and can be very mistrusting after seeing what the O&G companies have done to our neighbors. We are very protective of our communities.

Then why do they continue doing it?
