Do you ladies and gentlemen (not to offend anyone) really truly believe the Eichelberger well and sensibaugh well are good and plugged for the sake of cheap leasing?

In my evil mind back when we were approached about a pipeline and we had landowner meetings in my area I wondered why Devon said it was the heart of the oil in Ohio that would not only increase competition it would drive up land prices in our area when all our leases expired in a year and a few months but thought if theres oil there they will come get it. How do you back track from a comment like that and save yourself money? Fill it in and say its a dry hole. Its working we believe our area is dead and that they wont be back! Maybe its not dead after all!

What spin could there be why do they need me to sign a terribly bad amendment when my lease near a bad hole is expiring in less than 6 months? Why not let me ride into the sunset and Devon can forget I was ever leased by them and never pay me another dime?

I would fill an $8,000,000 hole that was the heart of the oil in ohio to save my self hundreds of millions in lease royalties and I dont gamble! But if I had billions in the bank I would risk it and other plays to fall back onto!

Poor Mrs. Yost I dont know her but I know of the family. This is crazy they are still getting people to sign terrible leases! WOW where does it end! What the heck is Devon doing over 10 miles southwest of the eichelberger well anyways?

The lease has the standard language that automatically extends if Oil & gas is found in “ paying quantities “ or if in the opinion of the Lessee there is oil and gas or if Lessee is continuing to“ search “ for oil and gas .

My lawyer found this in the lease! This is the part you speak of.
