So in your opinion there was data that said there was alot of oil present in the core samplings (wether than can extract it is another question)? They did tell there investors they found the heart of the oil in Ohio so there has to be some truth to that statement then correct? What about the statement from Devon saying they only want crude oil in your opinion would they have stayed with the well if they could have made money off the NGL and NG?

Put on your seatbelt, this is where it gets good.

We never once heard that the Eichelberger well was anything but oil the statement from one of the guy's with direct knowledge of the well was that it showed 95% oil and 5% natural gas (I dont know how this was calculated or established but it was around the sametime as the heart of oil in Ohio comment). They were either going to burn the gas off or run a pipeline to a columbia gas pipeline near my property. I was part of a group they wanted to run the gas pipeline thru. They offered $2 dollars a foot for a lifetime easement that was not attractive to us as a group and we held firm. Then everything just stopped as quick as it started. Now they are saying the Eichelberger well has NGL and NG? Mr. Grayson is the Devon info from there rep news to you?

I'm confident in the lawyer i have JODI thanks for the offer and he is telling me not to sign unless they put a new lease offer in front of us. Calla that was in our original lease and I crossed it out thank heavens many didn't hope Devon lets them expire!

No clue thats why I'm here. I know it's fishy but hey I cant answer Devons logic only they can and they wont say a word. I'm sure they have some poor company believing the oil is down there and will probably make money on flipping my $10 per acre lease. Good for them thats called capitalism. But I want my current lease to DIE ASAP.

Find somewhere that Mr. Grayson has asked for a penny from any of us and I will take back everything I said. Right now my lease wording is screwed up at the courthouse from WRP/Devon and they want me to sign an amendment to make the title right for what reason they wont say imagine that huh. My lease expires in less than 6 months makes no sense to me but I'm sure it does to them! Thats why we need this site and people like Mr. Grayson to help educate us all!

We should be on here to not put our futures in Mr. Graysons hands but our own hands. We as landowners dont ever have to sign another lease that is a fact! Greed is what drives this whole process I can learn from MY mistakes and wait for big oil to come again I believe they will! I have no idea who Mr. Grayson is or his true character (my gut feel is its good and I follow my gut) but he is very knowledgable in this field and I like picking his brain to educate myself from the games big oil plays.

Do you know what price MFC is offering per acre?
Comment by Carl Finley on January 17, 2013 at 6:58am
Mr. Grayson what do you mean more to it than oil from the Utica? My concern is pipelines and rightaways! I want the knowledge to cover my kids and grandkids. Like Mr. Grayson says all-over this sight if it's lucrative enough they will come get it or they will develop technology to get it when they need to on there time not ours. Calla what price per acre is MFC leasing for?
