If they used that auger at both sites, perhaps they are preparing to drill more wells at the Allam as well as one or more at the Rainbow. Seems if they are getting the BOE at the Allam that RR said, they would want to drill more there ASAP.

Work is progressing, just not the kind of work we'd like to see.  Instead of putting pipe in the ground, they are seeding and mulching the pipeline row.  No pipeline now until at least sometime next year.  Very disappointing.  HK drilled what is called a cellar or basement hole on the Rainbow pad with a small rig last week and then took the rig over to the Allam site.  I'm guessing that is what Debbie saw on Valley Road.  Just the drill bit, or "auger" is about 8 feet in diameter.

Work is progressing on the pipeline connecting Allam to Rainbow.  Gravel has been spread over the site of the temporary workspace where the boring machine is to be placed.  But, like I've said, they move slowly.....a few trees taken down in March, stakes and ribbons about May and then yesterday I noticed the gravel.  Earlier in the day I saw a big oversized machine pass me on Valley Road and thought it might be the boring machine, but nothing on the pad except gravel.  By the way, the temporary workspace is located on the downhill side of Valley Road about 1.25 miles from 62.  And yes, I know for certain what it is for...it is on my land.

RoughRice; if that is accurate it would be huge news.

OK, Sam here is a bit of news; so wake the cat up if you can.  Halcon presents at the Enercom conference tomorrow in Denver.  Their slide presentation is available today, however, and besides talking about the Trumbull County well (which they are ecstatic about) they also say this about Venango: "Allam 1H: 2nd most important well across the Utica play to-date -- test rate 1,654 Boe/d  -- extends the play to the NE by approx. 90 miles".  OK, ok not much I know but hey its somethin'.

I think the dead cat just knocked the only promoter for Venango off his barstool at the foxburg inn
