Samuel, I wish there was some activity in Venango County to comment on. Unfortunately its feels like oil and gas has forgotten we are here.
Hard to believe! The site remains Deader than a Dead Cat! No posts to Comment Wall since June 2, 2013. No posts to any thread since July 5, 2013 !!??
13 hours later and the site is still Deader Than a Dead Cat!???
Any news? or is this site once again Deader Than a Dead Cat??
RoughRice: This well then appears to be the most southern and the most eastern Halcon permit in Venango.
Samuel, according to Halcon's permit, Desko 2-H location is GPS coordinates 41.255763, -79.8964, which gives me a physical address of 253-543 Bullion Rd., Kennerdell, PA 16374. Looking satellite image it looks like the well will be off the road behind the tree line in the oval shaped clearing. Looks a pond of some sort in the northwest corner.
There is a new permit for a Desko II well. Does anyone know where Desko II is in relation to Desko I??
I have heard nothing new about the Allam well Samuel, I heard Shell hasnt got their budgeting yet for this year so thats one reason why leasing has been slowed up in this area. I think Shell is going to start leasing again in the Mercer/Venango county area IMO from what Ive heard.
Anybody out there with any more news about the Allam well? (This site is once again deader than a dead cat.) James, have you gotten or can you get, any more news to confirm what was said about the Allam well to a friend of your brother??
Just got home, driving down the road I live on you can see the bright orange sky from the Allam well flaring, looks like the whole sky is on fire. I live about 3 miles from the well.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
