Yep two oil companies were charged with criminal charges!

Brigham Oil & Gas, Newfield Production, and Continental Resources were charged with violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Brigham was charged with unlawfully killing two mallards, Newfield with killing two mallards, one northern pintail and one red-necked duck. Continental was charged with killing one bird called a say’s phoebe.

At least the judge dropped the charges, like he should have.

And people want more gov't oversight of everything, go figure.

This kinda reminds me of the farmer in NJ (yes there are some farms there) back in the 80's who ran over a whole nest of rats and killed 'em all with a tractor and disc setup, using repeated passes. Man, I'd like to have seen that! Yep, he got into all kinds of trouble. I believe it was called an animal cruelty case. I guess he should have captured them live and turned them loose where they belong.....say the state capitol grounds.

Inbreeding I thought was illegal in NJ ?

Now that is a good one Billy!!!!    Cheers!

I hope they fried up those ducks, they are good eat'in.....

i wonder how many worms they kill when drilling?
