"President Obama can tell a very positive story about his energy policies." Telling stories is easy, walking the walk is another thing.......time will tell, just as Mark said.
Actions speak louder than words.
time will tell? where you been?
Yea, I know gary. But hey, I'll give him a chance to jump on the bandwagon...... he is going to talk about it and most likely do nothing to further the CNG agenda....And most probably do things to hamper any real progress.
Yes he is an incredible story teller. A very well spoken man with a very presidential appearance and demeanor...all of that and a dime will get you a cup of coffee. Actions do speak louder than words. What I have observed the past four years is his ability to divide our country and his inability to create jobs. Awfully sad and ironic that during this election year he is finally jumping on the bandwagon...where has he been? We have no business transferring our wealth to OPEC...we have been blessed with an abundence of oil and natural gas here in the U.S.A.! NATIONAL ENERGY PLAN...I have been touting these three words along with T.Boone Pickens for three years...I hope this is the year of actions not words. I wish to all, that read this thread and have an interest in the shale plays, the very best for their individual situations...and I hope our country will capitalize on our blessings!
There's a national energy plan, we just haven't been left in on the details. But it goes something like:
1. Buy oil from Opec at inflated prices to maintain certain relationships within Opec.
2. Sell arms and aircraft to certain Opec members thereby getting money back and creating american jobs in said industries.
3 When Opec members run out of oil, their influence on the world stage is gone for good.
4. ANWR is our national reserve. We will drill it dry when Opec runs out of oil. Till then, repubs and dems can blame each other for the high cost of energy.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
