Looks like Josh is on the loose again...

 

House Republicans directed Capitol Hill police to detain a highly regarded documentary crew that was attempting to film a Wednesday hearing on a controversial natural gas procurement practice. [...]

Josh Fox, director of the Academy Award-nominated documentary "Gasland" was taken into custody by Capitol Hill police this morning, along with his crew, after Republicans objected to their presence, according to Democratic sources present at the hearing.

  After they saw how he twisted the facts for Gasland, I don't blame them, I wouldn't want him in there either.

Please enlighten me... what exactly is twisted? Like the fact that people are twisted enough to risk their lives over $$? yea, thats twisted.

What right do you or any one else on this sight to say some thing about some ones aptitude. People are all feeling the impact this gas industry is having on us in North east PA!

I do realize that some people are enjoying the Industry. But some are concerned with the enviro. I think that we all should respect each others opinions here. And, I have to say, not everyone up state heats with gas, for the most part, people heat with alternatives here. So, that should have been your last question!

maybe congress could order those same police to arrest holder over fast and furious. i can't see any other way to get at the guy. he IS the police.

The news this morning said he applied for credentials the day before the hearing but didn't get them in time. He was then allowed to sit in on the hearing with the stipulation that he not film. But...wait for it...he filmed anyway. So they arrested him. This is hardly a case of "hey, there's Josh Fox whom we hate...Get him!"

Gasland is a fraud and so is its producer.

However, we should be careful with using police power to silence him. This same power could be used against us someday.  I don't trust "the authorities" whether controlled by my political enemies or friends!
