keep in mind when chevron absorbed atlas that acreage went for 6800 an acre

Has anyone heard of plans for a gas processing plant in Mercer County?  If so, where?  We have land in the Grove City area.  I think the Marcellus is probably too thin and the Utica may be dry over there, so maybe more west?  Also, has anyone been approached for pipeline right-of-way or compressor stations?

Rob; According to maps put out by the Ohio DNR, most if not all of Mercer Utica should be wet. I am sure there will be a push on for ROW or compressor station locations soon.

The ODNR maps that I have seen stop at the PA border. Is it safe to assume that the lines just continue on? I know that the geology does not respect the state boundaries but how accurate can this be and who knows when those lines will change again

Hot is two drillers competing for your land. Halcon just agreed to $3619net and 18.5 net. Halcon is going to lease nearly 40,000 acres. This is hot. On fire!

My neighbor signed with Hilcorp 3500 and 17.5 just weeks before the Halcon offer of 3619 and 18.5 thru CX energy. I believed in CX and I will get 17,000 dollars more signing bonus as well as more money when the drill bit goes in. That is what I call HOT!

Just a question....has anyone got paid for a lease from CX in Mercer County yet? My father has a landman trying to get him to sign a lease through CX. Any information from you?
