Antero Pays $15,000 per Acre for Lease of Piedmont Lake

Yes, 15,000 dollars per acre to drill under Piedmont Lake.  This is the highest per acre lease in Utica!!

they still have to pay for the water.

 

 

At 15K/acre.....anyone want to guess what the $$$ per acre of product there is?

@Search,  Great post, this only enforces what we all have been saying here for the past few years.  If we are patient enough, as the infrastructure is developed and units saturate, there is only so much wet gas land left, and those acreage will bring the most amount of payment.

Yea, that should be incentive for Salt Fork State Park to decide on leasing under that 18,000 acres!  They need the $$$$. May have to wait for the Gubner to get re-elected 1st, though.
