P umpjack;  not sure what your talking about. Who did you sign with in Oct? And what extension did you sign? Why was an extension necessary? You may need to talk to the attorneys at MOPO law as I am not an attorney.

We've realized that there are a lot of people in the Pittsburgh area that own property in Venango Co.  Therefore, we are going to hold a meeting in Cranberry Township in Butler county so that these people can attend a meeting with out making a long drive or getting home very late during the week.

This meeting is for those landowners who live in the Pittsburgh area and will be
held at the Cranberry Municipal Building, Senior/Teen Center, 2525 Rochester Rd.,
Cranberry Township (Butler County), PA 16066.

Come on in, say Hi and ask all the questions you need. And tell any other Venango Co landowners you know to come by also.

M & P Law has a meeting set for Wed the 15th of Feb at the Franklin Quality Inn at 6:30 PM. If you have a lease and think it may not cover the Utica, bring it with you, the attorneys will look it over. They will do a power point of how they market the rights, explain leasing issues, and answer all questions.

The meeting;  the attorney went over several items about leasing including their history of over 300,000 acres leased (with several more groups in the process)  and the extent of their services for the landowner. He also said that in the last couple of weeks they have been getting inquiries from several companies asking if they have any land available for leasing in Venango Co. He is going to try to get some more detailed info from them like what specific areas/townships they are interested.

We will be scheduling another meeting soon and I will let you all know when and where as soon as it is set.

Just wanted to let everyone know there is a meeting for landowners at the Kings Family Restaurant in Franklin at 6 PM on Wednesday, Jan 25th.  We will go over leasing terms and discuss options for landowners in Venango County. Bring friends!

We have created landowner groups in several counties. "We" is ShaleAdvice.  I don't want to cross the lines of this forum so I don't advertise or solicit.  I use the forum to inform landowners about free informaitonal meetings for the purpose of securing a landowner friendly lease.    We began helping out those who were tricked into signing bad leases years ago and are trying to prevent it from happening again.

Thanks, ShaleAdvice. Keep us posted on the details of the meeting. Just curious, when you say "we" are looking for a location, who is "we"? Are you part of a landowner group?

We are scheduling a landowner meeting in Southern Venango County in the next couple of weeks.  Currently we are looking for a location that will accomodate a rather large meeting.  Our experience is that we generally have 50 to 100 people attend and therefore want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have a seat.  With the holidays around the corner it may be difficult to reserve space, so if we can not secure a proper venue, we may need to push the meeting back. I assure you it will be worth the wait once you understand your options!  This is definately not the time to sell yourself short.

The purpose of the informational meeting is to discuss the issues relating to shale including but not limited to the lease, addendum, surface and water protection, oil and gas legislation, and future litigation as a result of the lease.  Many landowners who have signed up to have their property marketed by other organizations have come to realize that their are far more issues that arise after the lease is singed and the bonuses have been paid.

Should you have questions before we secure a meeting location please email me and I will personally answer you questions.  stownsend@shaleadvice.com

Yes. This may be another new area of focus. I've been approached my several companies.
