"I think that would be the objective of every company that signs a lease with a landowner.  They don't want to pay you a 2nd time if they don't have too. Make sure you can live with the lease you sign, it will probably be the last…"

Has anyone really looked into this pooling?

From what my attorney has found you may be tied into a lease that can never be renegotiated meaning you will only get the original money for signing a lease and never get more than your royalties after that which do not amount to much after all their costs.See More
