depth severance

If the object is to lease only the Marcellus, the lease should only include the Marcellus shale and strata 100' above and below that formation.

Sam, Thank-you for your reply to my post under the Dale/Chesapeake Post. I must be learning something for everything you said was already going through my mind. Now it is just  deciding which is the best option to take. Of course there is a lot more to the lease than the few things I listed. I didn't want to post all the details in such a public place. You did read between the lines so well.

Thanks  again !

Sarah

Sam, I’ve read a bunch of your comments, both old and new, and if you’re slipping, then I know a lot of people who would love to slip up to your level. I’m with you, I’m definitely a paper rat, I love to dive into a twisted abstracted and wind my way through the maze – I suppose I’m just analytical like that. I’ve tried cases, but I’m fortunate enough to have 4 partners who are exceptional trial attorneys who love and live for trying cases. But I do enjoy working a case the whole way up to trial before handing it off to my partners, that way I can beat ‘em up on the way to court and they can beat ‘em up in court. Really, I just love discussing all of these gas issues with everyone. I’m really excited to be in the middle of (hopefully the beginning of) all of this gas activity so I can do more and more of what I love every day. I look forward to your future comments.
