Tom, In your opinion, we have an offer in se allegheny county of 1000 and 17%. Assuming the lease language is favorable, is this a competitive offer. Thanks, Scott

New Land Group SE Allegheny County

A quick question on viable gas companies operating in the above area. Ever since I put together a land group of about 800 acres, I have been asked to concider being involved on a much larger scale of perhaps several thousand in the same area of Elizabeth and Forward Twps. With this much acreage and still very much in this marcellus formation, I welcome any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks to all,… Continue

New offer from Chesapeak

My farm is located in SE allegheny county, Elizabeth Twp. The original offer from them was 250 per and that was about three months ago. They are negotiable on the royality, they started at 12.5% Just today they offered 500 per and will still negitiate the royality rate. We must sign by 8-14 and that will not happen as they want me to discuss same with all the neighbors. I am under the impression they only want to do Hydraulic and I/we would want a deep verticle also. Any thoughts are… Continue

hi scott im in new sewickly the proposed well is in north sewickley the first offer was 50 per acre /14% now my question for you is your 250.00 an acre is this for example (say you have 10 acres its a 5 year lease is that 250 x 12 = 3000.00 and then 5x 3000.00=15,000.00 and the well on the well site is there one hole with say 4 horizontals coming off the main or when they say 4 horizontal and 1 vertical does that make 5 seperate pipes and where does the percentage come in in the case scenarios ,did you get a lawyer
