Not according to Automotive news. The Toyota Tacoma is assembled in San Antonio Tx with 70% imported parts and all the corporate profits goes to Japan.

Profits, whatever they are, go to the corporate office for redistribution. Sure, new projects, building etc may occur. Appropriated solely for the purpose of future profits. Investment then profit. No chicken or egg issue. Invest first, profit second. What most people do not grasp is year after year we are losing a war of exports versus imports. Make it stop by buying as much US content from US owned corporations IF you have a choice. Spending is good. Spending US is better, period.

Joe, I think you are reading this wrong, either that or I am : )
Toyota Tacoma USA 70% IMPORT From the article this appears to mean that the tacoma contains 70% parts from the US or canada so therefore is called an import since it is below the threshold of 75% that it needs to be called Domestic.

Getting back to the basic question which started this discussion; if a substantial sum of money is anticipated, connect up with a good CPA whose specializes in tax work.
A Tax CPA should save you at least $5-$10 for every dollar he/she charges.
Don't be shy, take advantage of the talents of experts.
All in my humble opinion.
One size fits most.

Mary, everyone wants more and more, rich and poor. The difference is rick folks went the extra mile to get it, while folks with your attitude prefer to do little or nothing and then complain when others get ahead.
Rich folks are not all rotten scumbags. Many were once low income and decided they didn't want to spend the rest of their lives being poor so they worked hard and changed their situation. Then envious folks like you come along and want to punish their success. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so envious.

Bertrand Russell said envy was one of the most potent causes of unhappiness.[4] It is a universal aspect of human nature because not only is the envious person rendered unhappy by his envy, but also wishes to inflict misfortune on others.
