Are they taking anyone in Buffalo Twp? Is that really $1500 free gas per month or per year. Is it a $1500 cash payment in lieu of gas or are you able to use the gas directly off the well. I was under the impression that the gas from the Utica needed processing before it could be used.

Thank you for the info. I knew Sickler's office was doing 3B  but I didn't know Des was involved with these leases. Thank you

He isn't as far as we know .      Al

thank u

Just so everybody knows, Anadarko has quit buying up leases and has laid off all of its landmen representatives and has turned all of its lease buying business over to Alliance for the time being.

That is really interesting do u think its Christmas break? Or they ran out of money?

At this time some operators feel the price is to high for undeveloped areas at this time.

You will see a pull back until well logs start coming in and real production is showing up and filed in Ohio.

Many ac's in Ohio are under contract and this time of the year all money goes to operation. (drilling)

Thanks

I am new to this discussion group, so I apologize for my ignorance.

My dad, who is elderly, owns land in Noble County but he no longer lives there. He has an old lease which we are just now trying to research. Up until last week, he hadn't followed any of the activity re: oil and gas leasing, nor has he received any solicitations. So we are quite behind in our knowledge.

I am now trying to help him learn about the issues. Can anyone tell me how to get in contact with the landowner's groups that are active or in formation? I've read much of what has been posted in this group and have tried to do my own research but I am having trouble finding the email addresses for someone of the key players.

I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks and Happy New Year.

I did not answer your request sooner because I did not want to give advise that I am not sure of. I do not think anyone has the correct answer for your question. It is almost like picking a church; YOU NEED to decide if the money or the terms is the most important; is the group you choose going to let you sleep at night because in the end you make the right deal or no deal. As my question stated in the beginning the proof is in the pudding, pick a group that does not cloud you with a lot smoke and bull. And most of all God Bless we are all going to need it

I don't know of any Noble county groups.

I suspect all acreage he has is Held by production (HBP)....and that is why he has not been solicited.

Keep learning....maybe the old lease needs ammended and you can get better terms and possible bonus and bump in royalties at that time.
