I think Shell is getting cold feet on that cracker plant

This doesn't feel right.  Shell has had enough time to run the governors of PA, OH and WV through the wringer to get ever concession possible.  Yet, the announcement of the ethylene cracker hasn't been made.  Keep in mind that the lead time on this facility is six years.  Something doesn't smell right to me.  Is shell waiting to see the results of more wells before committing $2 billion?

maybe the european debt crisis along with the middle east troubles are affecting the money people. also, i can't imagine the epa's reg's on the cracker. look at the refineries shutting down because of obama's epa. lot going on behind the scenes.

Forget the Obama connection...When Obama won the extension of the payroll tax holiday, the Republicans exacted a toll:  they got to EPA to stand down on electric plants burning coal to make electricity etc...I work for a refinery .....they want us working.

i sure can't find anything about the repubs exacting a toll by stopping epa regs. i did find articles from yesterday stating the exact opposite. the epa regs are about to cripple the coal and electric industries. and there were just 3 refineries closed in philly because of obama's epa. the refinery may want you working. obama wants you sitting at home on the gubmint dole.

I'm sorry but ultra right republicans/conservatives just don't demonstrate intellect.  It's just so easy for farmers to say, we got ours, now you earn yours.....You know, it's like being born on third base and believing you hit a triple to get where you are....You want to appear smart?  Then pick up the flag and defend the disenfranchised....And before you say, screw that, remember that from the K street DC point of view, we're all disenfranchised.

I dont know who your addressing or what point your trying to make, but i will say this to you. The farm i currently own was on and off the market for nearly twenty years before i bought it, it was for sale. You didnt have the cash, but i worked for it and signed my life and all my future earning's away, to get it. 

What lies under the soil here is mine, not anyone elses, not the gubment, not Obummer, not yours.

If your disenfranchised, join the club. If you want to get to third base, find a legal way to earn your way to it, just like i did.
