Compressed Natural Gas for vehicles

Does anyone know if these gas companies and subcontractors use any compressed natural gas vehicles or do they just fill up with foreign diesel fuel?  US has Boon Pickens and corporations asking for governmental support and funding for CNG, one has to ask where the leadership is on this topic.

william, thhis is a public site, and people under age 18 can read it and i don't appreciate your foul mouth so i emailed the administrator to restrict your comments.  i dont know whether they will or not, but simply put you compared me with nazis, you use foul language, and i have tried to understand that you are upset, but this forum is intended to educate members about the good, the bad and the ugly and our concerns, but you have failed to provide anything except attacks. Mr Ferrullo;  lets try a different tact.  How about making some specific recommendations for the the industry to do to improve itself.  What specific things do you recommend they do to alleviate any environmental impacts they have.

From what I have seen the industry has responded to issues that have been raised by people.  They use a much less toxic fracking solution now, recycle most of not all flow-back water, use pipelines instead of trucks to bring in water whenever feasible, are now switching equipment to run on nat gas which reduces air pollution substantially from diesel, use a smaller surface footprint, and more.  I am sure there are many things they do that I am not aware of.

Other than reduced hours of operation, you haven't put forth anything to help. And reduced hours of operation won't happen. The cost to renting rigs, ancillary equipment, and housing employees is too great. Also, they have so much land the need to drill they don't have enough people and equipment to do it all even if they had 36 hrs a day to operate.
