Attention to all;

There is a sign up deadline of June 8 for the first round of bidding for the Tioga County members of the Twin Tiers Landowners Coalition (TTLC). This offering is drawing a good deal of interest because of the growing scarcity of unleased land in the County. With several thousand acres in the group(and growing) this promises to be one of the last big opportunities for the gas companies to add Tioga Co acerage.

There will be other offerings in Tioga Co in the future as leases expire and new members join TTLC, but they are not likely to include as much acerage.

TTLC has excellent representation,and does not charge or obligate the Landowner. You can learn about TTLC and the Marcellus at www.twintlc.com.

Bill, Thanks for your reply.
Our coalition is based on the fact that grouped holdings almost always do better those who try to lease 1 on 1 thru a landman. You may notice that it costs you nothing to be a member and you are not obligated in any way.We are currently finalizing a lease which will protect the landowner and still give the Gas Company the room it needs to work. We have several companies very interested in Bidding on our Tioga properties. Also it may interest you that we have observed that if a company is trying to lease your land then it usually is free to lease. Hopefully that is true in your situation but only a lawyer experienced in leasing can tell you for sure. We are currently looking for a spot to hold an Informational and Sign up session in the Westfield area before the end of the month. If you know of a good spot or have any other questions please email or call me at 607 329 2587.

Thanks
Mike
My replies were all deleted by me because time was running out. Apparently the interest was not great enough to follow through with a phone call or a timely visit to Pennsylvania to make arrangements for a meeting!

Bummy, we are having a meeting on Tuesday the 25th at the Cowanesque Valley High School in Westfield Pa at 6;30 pm. You are welcome. I am not a lawyer but if you bring a copy of your lease i would be happy to give it a look after the meeting.....As i stated before ,you will require an experienced lawyer's advise to find a solution for your situation.I hope you will stop by to see us on Tues.

Mike
Mike; I signed up a while ago with TTLC. Do you know when we will learn the details of an actual offer? After years of ignoring me, my property is suddenly becoming interesting to gascos. My lawyer is currently reviewing an offer, but it would be nice to know what other offers, such as one through TTLC, are out there before I sign.
Lynn, after our June 8 deadline we expect to put our Tioga members eligable properties out to bid near the end of June and about 3 weeks after that we should have our offers. Please do not forget that offers made to a group have historicly almost always been higher than those made to individual landowners.
Not to mention that you are very unlikely to be offered a lease by a gas company that is as protective and thorough as the TTLC lease will be. I am not suprised that certain Companies will step up offers so that they will not have to compete with other Companies willing to pay more. As a member of TTLC you are not obligated but i would encourage you to wait till we find out what our best offer will be. It is unlikely that the value of your lease will decrease over time.

At any rate, Information received at that meeting will have to be helpful in choosing which way to go. I do suggest, if possible that you do attend Mike's meeting.
