I am pleased to hear of this training program.

I am of the opinion that the unconventional shale plays have the potential to provide employment for a person's entire career; folks, we are just out of the starting gate.

I am especially pleased to note that preference is being given to returning veterans - they have sacrificed much for us, anything done to show our collective appreciation will always be too little.

All IMHO,

Jack; I have heard they love to hire veterans for numerous reasons. One, they are used to working long, hard hours  in all kinds of weather. They are used to be away from home.....14 straight days of work is nothing to these guys. They know how to take orders and work as a team. The danger doesn't bother them. Many of them know how to use and work on machinery. Most are highly educated and highly motivated.

Shalenet has been around for about 4-5 years. The funding will give them a big boost in getting people employed and helping get us to energy independence.

I applied through the JFS Muskingum County for Rig Pass at Zane State result not really meant for me  according to Zane State. Age I believe was the reason but I think Jim could vouch for me being  up to par not like at 22 year old but then again there are 22 year olds that can't get off a couch.
