Not in your wildest dreams would McCain/Palin have pulled this garbage.

I KNEW there was 'gold' involved. I used to joke that the foundation of 'new pentagon' building is 'where all the gold is'! What better place to put it! HA!

PEOPLE are what the overall 'problem' - give them enough rope, and they'll hang themselves. WHY are we having all of the problems that we are having today? *Ultimately - because PEOPLE do NOT 'govern themselves' in 'tight & right' manners. It's a matter of personal control.

Everybody wants to 'do what they do' because 'THEY WANT TO'.

Basically - you are what you are when no one is looking...and therefore, you are what you are when EVERYONE is looking. i.e. What you do in private, you will do in PUBLIC. There is NOTHING 'new' under the sun.

--------------------------

Here's a basic, no-nonsense thought that will show this. You have a $100 bill on you. You go fishing. You need to buy a new pole, minnow bucket, license, hooks, bobbers, AND minnows...THEN you've got to get gas, and you'll probably grab something to eat & drink...maybe smoke(?)...

Question - do you 'spend' your cash? -OR- do you put it all on a credit card & figure that you'll pay it off later? OR you pay some cash, some CC/debit card...whatever.

BOTTOM LINE: We are a FRIVOLOUS SOCIETY - WE WANT IT NOW.

Can't WAIT...gotta' have it, gonna' get it...even if it's NOT what I really want...I WANT IT NOW!!!

No worries - the money will ALWAYS 'be there' somehow. RIGHT?...take it easy baby. PUT ON THE BRAKES...LEARN to 'slow down' & WAIT. *YOU need to break the 'relishing' temper of 'gimme' that, gimme' that...gimme', gimme', GIMME' THAT' mentality!

HOW much IS enough? Carpe' Diem.

***It's funny Richard Artschwager - was 'military intelligence' (as are MANY artists - hide in plain sight) during WWII. He did a 'painting' (on Celotex' - textured board) showing George Bush & then one of the Twin Towers BLOWING UP (like how it looks when you 'fold' a bill...it looks the same way/image...) - I believe. It's been so long ago now...I  just recall seeing that, looking at the *production date of the 'Twin Towers' painting...*it PRECEDED 911. Talk about 'shake you up' - THAT is what any/all of 'these situations' are SUPPOSED to do. RADICAL!

Richard Artschwager - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It takes the cash (NOT the CC!) to 'pay the rent'. If you can't 'pay the bills' - you're DOGMEAT!

NO ONE said it was EASY to play 'tight & right'...but it sure makes a difference in how you view the world around you, as well as HOW you choose to EXIST 'IN' the world.

***It's ALL about 'choices'. 'A is A', and 'B is B'. A chicken is not a duck...nor  an apple a orange...YOU KNOW. Yes, you do...so I don't need to say THAT again.*** YOU KNOW. Did I say that again?

As one light lights another, nor grows less - so nobleness enkindles nobleness. Did you know that if you quit smoking, the aveoli in your lung tissue can/will generally mend within x3 years...

EVERYTHING is a HABIT. *The Power of HABIT (Why We Do What We Do In Life and Business) by Charles Duhigg. In it is *Tony Dungy (Colt's Coach), AA (Alcoa)'s Paul O'Neill...Starbuck's teaches 'habits' TO it's employees (because they VALUE their employees)

WE, AmeriCAN's *CAN instill 'change/adaption' - we are like the Mustangs. We are a 'breed unto ourselves'...what we are LACKING in instilling into our young people of today is 'the power of observation'. We are programing ROBOTS...WE are NOT 'robots', we are 'human beings'.

Spoken like a Left-wing Liberal who rents in town.

Well, actually,Dorothy when you stated that"Politics have nothing to do with what we are hoping happens to we the landowners   $$$" .is that ,yes, the government(i.e. Politics) and the laws of the land have EVERYthing to do with us !!If we all voted in this socialistic regime ( no one I know voted for him......)then, sister, hang on to your hat-if you can.

Marcus

That's crazy talk.  SEPA voted him in.  We rural folk sure as heck are not that stupid!!

Also, let me remind you there are three million Americans who simply could not be bothered enough to vote.  If they had gone to the polls and voted for Romney, as they would have, we would not be in this fix.  I'm no Romney lover.  But I'm smart enough to know the difference between bad and worse.  Three million of my fellow Americans are too stupid to know that!!

Oh Frank, I think far more than 3 million were too dumb to know the difference.

Marcus the majority of landowners on this site voted for Romney, in some of your posts you praised 0bama , Marcus did you vote for 0bama?

I absolutely dare you to find a post where I praised Obama.  Do it.

Thats a good one. Keep looking.

Since both PA and OH were very close races, and since there are serious questions about the legality of a significant portion of the vote--and those questions were laid aside because of the very real fear of rioting and civil unrest--I refuse to take any blame for this President. But then, PA has often suffered because of city people who vote with their TVs instead of their brains.

exactly Deb - Black Panthers 'guarded' multiple voting sites in Philadelphia area, where 100% of voters in those precincts voted for Obama.  And then we have precincts with nine registered voters who counted over 900 votes for Obama.  Same things happened in OH.

So, did we have an election or not?  VERY debatable but it's all be design - we really only THOUGHT we had a choice.

What is most obvious is we still have many stupid people voting, many of which voted for their food stamps and free phones, assisted housing, free healthcare, and on and on...

Really, folks, someone has to pay and it's not THEM!

We've reached the tipping point.  Those on the dole now control the vote and choose the 'winner'.  Millions of apathetic potential voters do not register to vote or vote.

So, to think we actually had any choice is not critical thinking.

I'm not one of them .

FFF, How true that last statement is.
