Just wondering if anyone has heard any rumors about Stark County.  Seems like CHK has everything leased up back in 2010 but haven't heard much since.

I'm guessing that you are talking about the development on Meese Rd. I saw the surveying stakes off of 153  just East of town earlier last year but I no longer see them. Is that still a location of interest for a well

From what I can guess it is.  I haven't heard a thing in almost a year.   CHK paid to have water wells tested all around here but then nothing.  Not sure how long a water test is good for.  I would think they wouldn't want to go too long before drilling but I don't know.  I do know allot of water wells were tested and that is cheap.  I guess time will tell.

The Posey well that runs underneath Congress Lake has been plugged. There is a well pad just east of rte 44 on Price street that has had no activity in the last year. There is a planed well off of Allen Drive .. The Franks well on rte619 is rumored to be heavy with liquids.

patrick, why was the posey well plugged?

I think it might have been poor output .

You seem to have some good info.  What is up with the drevon well in osnaburg?

My neighbor in Osnaburg twp was just approached by Chesapeake a month or two ago.  He was offered $3350 per acre and 20% royalties for his 6 acres.

Have you seen the lease? Is it a standard boiler
Sorry hit done too soon, is it a standard boiler plate lease
