I think you are correct.  I also believe that NW Monroe is going to be where it is at in the future.

I'm part of a 600+ acre tract in
Franklin twp. Leased to Antero.
South of Summerfield.

The Noble wells look stronger on an non-boe level.  They're pulling a lot of condensate out, which is very profitable.

Agreed!  It will be interesting to see how all this plays out when Antero's wells start to come on line and others are drilled to see where this wet window is best.  Noble and Monroe are in good shape for the wet window in my estimation.

Wow those are some impressive well results for Antero. I wish I had land in the southern part of the play.

I'll be interested in seeing how far east the wet gas window extends into monroe county

Aaron,

Wet gas is in Utica in northwest Monroe;  wet gas is in Marcellus and upper devonian in townships bordering Ohio River;   I think the interesting question is will there be a pathway through the central section of Monroe that is not wet in any of the formations.  Wondering how these wet formations taper into each other, merge with each other and border each other.

Interesting that the drilling is happening on the edges of Monroe, not really in the center of county.

I have property right in the middle of the county and have been trying to figure out what is going on given the activity to the east and west of late. Recently I've been in touch with Lensman and associates who has put together a pretty impressive landowner friendly lease - $5800 /acre 5 + 5 and 20% royalty for folks in the central and some surrounding townships.  If a company is willing to pay these rates, I can only assume they think something is down there other than just dry gas.

If anyone is in this area and want more info on the lease I'd encourage you to contact Lensman and Associates.

Aaron, are you willing to share township?   IMHO perhaps the per acre bonus should be some where over 6K.

wayne township but my property butts up to center twp.

As predicted, Antero is publishing results to whet the appetites of the investment community prior to their IPO; and these should surely get Wall Street's attention.   Some folks thought they would lay low for a while and let the memory of the W. Va accident fade before publishing, but I guess their backers thought it had faded enough, and it's time to get on with it.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. With their IPO coming up, they want to sell them thar shares for top dollar!.  Maybe they are just being honest with their production results, instead of downplaying the Utica to keep lease $$$ down for landowners.
