Any Idea What Talisman is planning in Bradford County PA?

Just curious if anyone has heard any news or been contacted by Talisman in Bradford County PA.  Our lease is up in a few months and it seems like anything they had planned (wells, pipelines, etc.) have come to a complete stop.   I it is slow going for all the companies at this time but it seems like they may not be interested in our area go forward.  Just putting it out there!  Thank you!

In Bradford County, in at least some instances where existing Talisman wells and pipeline have been completed, natural gas is being produced and sold.

In instances where drilling and fracking are not completed, or if pipeline has not been extended to a completed Talisman well, things are pretty much at a standstill and there is no production.

This is dry gas country after all.  Nobody has great expectations these days.

Talisman has a new leader now, in Calgary.  The old leader got the boot.  New leadership oftentimes results in new thinking and new approaches.  Thus, nothing is certain at this time for Talisman Lessors.  This sure is not Ohio.

Barbara, You might call the Talisman 'stakeholder relations' reps in Horseheads for more specific information on the company's plans for the region. - deb

 My personal opinion is the gas companys are in position to start mass producing when the demand calls for it,LNG export I think would be the first step to lower reserves and stimulate the gas companys to start leasing and drilling again in the dry gas area's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgtSoEJD9HE

Bradford County seems to be dormant right now or at least from where we are. We have E.O.G. but Talisman is right near by. We have a well next to us but they finished putting that in a couple months ago. Just interested as to where the pipeline is at this point. Everything we read says that Bradford County is the hot spot so maybe spring will bring that forward.

My well in bradford county has been completed for a year with no pipeline yet.  It's in NW bradford in that clump where all the talisman wells are.

Hi Jason,  I was wondering if your well ever went on line/production?  Did a pipeline go in?  Still very little activity in our section of BC.  Hope your well is up and running!

unsure as to their outlook, i do however have a company in colorado that i am working directly with that is looking to buy mineral rights and/or royalties in bradford and tioga counties, unsure if they do any leasing.

We all should offer up a prayer for folks who actually want to sell their rights.  I realize such folks exist.  I can only imagine the horrid straights in which they find themselves.  Thank God these people are few in numbers.  I wish them all well.

I receive rights purchase offers all the time.  Last one offered me three times what my royalties were for 2012 alone in return for all my rights forever going forward.  But that's not all!!

The kicker is that those 2012 royalties I just mentioned were based on natural gas being produced from less than half my property!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Suffice it to say offers like this are ridiculous.  People who even consider them have to be in a truly hopeless situations.
