Any news for Portage, Stark or Tusc. counties for 2014

I have not heard much about these counties and just wondered if someone out there has any information about these counties for 2014.  I know everything is happening down in southern Ohio but just wondering if one of those rigs might make a wrong turn and head north instead of south!

Sounds like someone needs to start a candle factory in Trumbul Mercer county area.

Can anyone in this discussion tell me how important is it to reserve mineral rights?  I have oil and gas rights already. Are there any other minerals beneath the surface that can be profitable in the future? There is a question as to whether I own the minerals in a deed and I will need to spend money to research.

You want to own the mineral rights because it gives you executory power to sign any and all documents related to everything mineral related.

FYI to all, according to the Baker Hughes Rig Tracker a Horizontal Rig is on site at the Anadarko/NGO site in Coshocton County. This will be a Horizontal Clinton Formation well.
