Rumor has it drilling is coming back to Bradford Co. Yes, heard that last couple of years. We recently were sent a new lease. Have no idea what we should be asking for since a new lease seems to be unusual right now. Was wondering if anybody has had been approached this year to sign up.

Yes, we recently renewed a small lease with CHK at the original price of $1,000 per acre in Wilmot Township and my sister and her husband renewed their lease with Talisman in Windham at half of the original price.

Our offer is from Talisman at $750/acre. Nothing great but we have house up for sale and any interested parties seem to want a lease on the property. We are in Leraysville.

$750 seems to be what Talisman is paying now....

Hi Dawn,

Where around LeRaysville are you? I am on East Street near the Youngs and Talisman did not renew my 30 acre lease which expired last year.

Not sure if anyone is interested in LeRaysville anymore, but I am glad to hear that you received an offer.

Hi Kenny, I am off the Goose Rd. I believe there was a proposed well site there a couple of years ago.

Hmmmm, well, I was raised there and not familiar with Goose Road. Is that near Davis Road on the South side of LeRaysville?

Thanks Dawn!

Ahhhhhh ok, now I see it. Spent many days out there when the land to the south was Forys land. Stuesman's lived there .

Thanks Dawn!

Dawn,

what kind of acreage do you hve?  What are you asking for the house/acreage?

Tim we have 28 acres. We took house off the market for the winter and now are waiting to see if we will sign lease and then have to re-think the price. Most likely 50/50 or 100% right option on rights. Realtor had us as $399,999 50/50 rights with no signed lease. Open to interested parties....

must be one heck of a house.

be careful, the lease you sign will partly determine the value going forward.

wj

we are being very careful. Want to protect ourselves and buyers.

yes,it appears chk is quietly going to bring in a few more drilling rigs;in their third quarter investor presentation,it showed in 2014 they plan to have 6-7 rigs drilling instead of just 5.no media discussion on this whatsoever but look up the presentation-its in there[rigs for nepa only].
