Starting this thread to post info related to Magnum Hunter and its various business components.  First post is Triad Hunter opening office in Marietta, Ohio.  Definately Magnum Hunter is spending in Monroe, Noble and Washington counties in Ohio as well as Tyler and other WV counties.

fourth quarter report as well as year end;    I haven't read it as lol I have to go to my day job.

Comments please.

The latest story on GreenHunter's attempt to open a facility for barging frack water in Wheeling, WV.  The most interesting info is in the comments section regarding who owns a utility right of way.

March 14 info from Magnum Hunter listing vertical depths, lateral lengths and production info on Stalder, Ormet, WVDNR, Farley and Stewart-Winland well pads.    Stewart-Winland has three Marcellus wells and is to have first hortizontal Utica well in West Virginia.

Also when you are at MHR website look at the slide presentation under Eureka Hunter for projected throughput--page 36. I'm seeing the indication of the decline curve on some Monroe, Tyler, and Noble Co wells. Comments about that anyone?

Can someone give me a description of where the Stewart-Winland  well is located in Tyler co.   Is it anywhere near Polecat Run/Hollow?    How far from the Ohio River is it as the crow flys?   Thanks in advance.

Yes, it appears the gas production from 4/7 producers using their pipeline has leveled off, while 3/7 continue to grow.  If the 4 have slowed down their rate of drilling, it's reasonable that this is an indication of the decline curve kicking in.

Also interesting on slide no. 36 is the Herrick well which doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar or comment list.  It is projected to be flowing through the pipeline at better rates than the Tippens which was suppose to be a big one for the riverfront area.  Perhaps a "sweet spot" has been found in the dual Marcellus/Utica area as the Tippens, Herrick, and Stalder wells are all "close" neighbors.

Very interesting look at the financial health of Magnum Hunter.  Within is a reference to the fact that Eureka Hunter pipeline is now to be called Magnum Hunter Pipeline LLC.

IMHO the pipeline is the strongest aspect that MHR has going for it at the moment.

Yep...CEO  says it has infrastrucure in place....piplines in before wells are drilled...........they are firing on all cylinders.

Thanks for the article searcherone, very good information. I do have concerns, however on the accuracy of much of their hbp leaseholds. I was reviewing the April investor presentation on Magnum's website and was finally able to zoom sufficiently on slide 39 to actually see the parcels in my area claimed by Magnum. I have 124 acres not part of Magnum or Triad that are shown as Magnum leaseholds. I also have another 40 acres in an adjacent section that are Magnum but not shown as such.

Wouldn't you think that this type of information would be more accurate than this for the CEO to be running around presenting to investor conferences?

I would like to be more excited about Magnum/Triad, but with the MNW lawsuit, heavy debt load,

and issues [from what I was told by a Triad employee] with some Virco properties, I have my doubts.

J.D

Are you able to give us some outline of what the lawsuit is about  with MNW and apparently Magnum is also included in it?  I am aware of the acreage MH was to acquire with MNW as the broker.  Was the acreage from individuals or hbp acreage from some local O&G guys?

There was a discussion started in the Washington County group on 3-27-14 about the lawsuit with Dux, Magnum and MNW. I'm not sure whether it involved individuals, or hbp, or a combination. I have a neighbor who was paid last fall as part of the MNW deal with Magnum, but he wasn't hbp and had never been a part of any group.

By the way, did you see the post on 4-3-14 by Brianh on Gastar's presentation?

slide 19 is interesting for those of us in the area they highlight as the "core" of the Utica dry gas. Assuming we have "wet" Marcellus above the Utica, any guess at the potential value of this area?

A financial review of Magnum Hunter's pipeline, Eureka Hunter.

Magnum Hunter doubles down on the Utica/Marcellus.
