So has everyone now been paid by there GREAT RIVER LEASE? people talk about it then just stop! NOTHING!

Got a Letter today  wanting to introduce me to Great River EnergyLLC , Leasing on behalf of American Energy Partners in my area. I live in Jefferson Co. Steub. Township. It is a form letter and got calls from a couple neighbors saying they also received  the same Letter. The  letter was a from American Energy Partners and Great River Energy,LLC on the Letter head and the Return address and Email from Orange Energy Consultants and self address stamped envelope for  Orange Energy Consultants. I'm leased to Palloma III , and read that AEP bought all the leases in my area. Does anyone Know if that happened for sure and this is a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is Doing. Will I get a Notice if I'm sold to AEP? Either way I take this as , AEP may want to start their Jefferson Co. drilling program in my area.(Hope) Is this a good sign they may be putting something together or just a junk mail campaign to see what is left out there??

he got overnight fedex but great river is totally disorganized. If you ask me the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. My lease says 120 day but the person i spoke to insists it 150 days because it says it on order of payment. The addendum says 120. What's the point of the addendum if it's not honored.

Is the pipeline clause for pipelines associated with wells on the drilling unit only? Or does it also allow for other lines ?

I got a check 04/28/14 from a sign in September, by FedEx, but only on my smallest parcel in Jefferson county (4.77 a), but have adjoining two more parcels at 5+ acres each (total 15.18).  Has any one had the payout of lease come in different checks, or does this mean that is all I get?  Memorandum done a few weeks ago still listed all three of my parcels!  Cannot get any answers from Orange Energy/Great River as their mailbox is full...wonder why, we all have unanswered questions.  Pipe dream for us all involved, too bad we are dreaming of much smaller numbers then the heads of all of this and with no answers to live on as of yet!!!   

Neighbor just brought me a lease from Orange/Great River for 2 small 1/2 acre lots and his piece that borders me of about 5 acres. They offered him $6,000.00 but they raised it to $7200.00 and acre when he said  what I got, plus 20%. Lease was thin maybe 2 page. I told him take it a lawyer and fatten it up with addendums before he signs it. Steubenville Township/ Jefferson Co. /Mingo Area. They would not return my call, Still trying to figure out what's up.

Gibs -- I think i posted  before they seem to be paying only on small acreage. less that 3. Maybe they ran out of money.  Were all of your parcels on the same lease???  I hate GRE.  I Did research and Chesepeke  screwed landowners every step of the way. GRE/AEP is ran by the same guy.

Adam- Yesterday, I did get to speak with someone at Orange Energy/GRE and was told that the paid parcel was approved 100% and the other two were still under investigation.  "Parcels are approved/investigated thoroughly one at a time and paid by separate check."   My paid lease was for more than 3 acres, so that is good news to others...  All parcels are on the same lease.  I remain optimistic; however, still trying to stay hopeful as things are moving (late!) and there are others in this area who have been paid with little to many acres as well including more and more leases being signed.  My thought is the longer they keep their money the more interest they inquire to work with....that's my hopeful thinking.  Keeping you all posted as this is all we have!

James - Maybe YOU should do the research. I'd heard nothing but bad about Chesapeake. I read about many people who went to court all suing Chesepeake for screwing them one way or another.

Google CHK and lawsuit. From walking away from leases to deducting fees to bring the product to market sold to their own shell companies. Yeah moron Chesapeake is a honest company.

Well I googled Rice, Gulfport, and nothing came up.

Is that why Aubrey was booted out of his own company

I wonder why CHK and now AEP use shell companies from the janitor to the window washer. Is that what a honest company does??

How come Gulfport RIce, Antero, etc don't use shell companies but their own company name??

I really don't explain .I'm everyone here  knows about McClendon's modus operandi. I learned from the people here that he's is a crook.
