VG,its business and do not take it personally...they are interseted in profit..not partners!
Do not expect a generous partner or a mean greedy enemy.  The producer simply wants to buy low and you want to sell high.  And assembled acreage from many landowners is worth more than the tract of land one owner has to sell.
Assembled acreage is worth more than individual parcels.  Each adjoining parcel adds value to the last parcel acquired.  But there still reason to believe that bonuses of $5000/acre for 5 years and 20% royalties measured against some numbers that make sense is reasonable.
FYI - Chesapeake just bought some of Fortuna's leases in Bradford Co. Don't know how much
The state has agreed to start transitioning 16,000 vehicles to natural gas...This not a surprise to me as I predicted this 18 months ago...I'am surprised it has taken this long! The state is also looking @ transforming every other gas station on the turnpike to natural gas stations! The demand is growing...slow now...faster soon!
Might be a good time to invest in some energy stocks...what do you think?Maybe a gas[natural of course]station or two!!!!

Hello Daniel,

If you don't mind, please tell me which state has made the move to convert? I would guess it will be a follow the leader game, state by state....good for landowners and the economy in general.

Pennsylvania...16,000 vehicles in one government entity!Every state is a potential candidate to convert, every county is a potential candidate to convert, and every municipality is a candidate to convert! The private sector will follow...Giant Eagle AND EQT have already received grants for conversion. The beauty is NG is cheaper, more efficient, and burns cleaner than gasoline...the perfect trifecta. How Ironic that this news is breaking the same day oil goes over $90. for the first time since October,2008!!!!
I think I would like to start a private group of landowners whom want to maximize the value of their assets. This group is going to be for those who can wait to realize the maximum benefits. This group is going to be called the Keystoner's. I welcome anybody to join@ no cost and no obligation...we own these rights...they are valuable and we will treat them accordingly! Please E-mail me @ danielrupert@rocketmail.com if interested! Thank you and Happy Holidays!
I can't sleep...it's 2:37 a.m. in the morning...I think we are on the verge of something really big...stay tuned!!
A small community in W.V. just purchased 9 new natural gas vehicles for their sanitation department...they actually spent more money for these vehicles than they would have for traditional vehicles...the extra money came from a grant. These vehicles will last longer,be more energy effecient, and produce less hydrocarbons than the traditional vehicles. The total cost was 2.2 million with $400,000. coming from the grant.
Dan, at 2.2 mill, the avg. cost of (9)  vehicles would be 244,000 dollar each........what did they buy...D9 bulldozers or tanks?
