Is there any website like the ODNR that shows the pipelines that are in and future pipelines?

Which county are you interested in?
Sorry but I just have a map of the pipelines around my area, southeast Guernsey, northeast Noble and southwest Belmont.
Here is a Google Earth map of some of the pipelines in my area. You will need Google Earth installed on your computer to view the map. I was lucky that the Google Earth image was taken just after MarkWest finished installing many of the pipelines but before they had a chance to reseed. Maybe you will be as lucky in your area.
You probably can find the information by contacting the respective regulatory agency.
Be prepared to explain to them why you are looking for the information.
They are very protective about the documentation of where the pipes are.
If they like your answer you get to see the maps. And, they might even make copies for you.
That will get you EXISTING pipeline info.
For "future pipelines" (aka Proposed Pipeline Projects) try checking with ODNR, Ohio EPA, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the US EPA, for projects Under Consideration.
Thanks James.
Visited site.
Found (3) three (main transmission) lines (projected as LNG Plant Dependent) running toward the City of Ashtabula.
Nearest (and longest) running / slightly angling but generally east (from PA) to west (toward City of Ashtabula) near / through Pierpont Township which is north of me.
Most info. I've seen.
Maybe more lines (gathering lines perhaps ?) will be shown on this reference map as locations are determined / developed a little later ? Actually hopefully sooner than later.
Strangely I didn't notice any north - south line running along route 11 which has been discussed on GMS a number of times as already in the mix and perhaps even under construction. What's your read on that if you have a little time to reply ?
Thanks again for your interest and time spent - we appreciate it.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
